Hi all, and Merry Christmas! This has been our third Christmas in Uganda, and the third time that our hearts have been torn, wishing to be two places at once - or more like ten places - to be with all of the people we love. I guess that's really just a longing for heaven though. But in the meantime, it's a privilege to be here - and while we hope to send out an update soon, we wanted to at least send out a few pictures from today and wish you all, once again, a Merry Christmas.
To begin, here are some of the kids from our kids ministry at church before the nativity song they sang. Shepherds and angels...
...and a particularly cute sheep.
Decorating our friend's wheelchair.
Getting to gather together at Ekisa on a very special day.
Where we were, in fact, visited by Santa.
Who brought gifts for all the kids!
And finally, a fun one from our church's kids ministry Christmas party last week.
Thank you all for the role you have played in loving each of these children - children far away whom many of you have never met.
As we have spent this advent season thinking about Jesus, who came to us, not to be served but to serve and to give His life for us, we can't help but be thankful for these two things: that we have all been loved, and that we get to extend His love outwards, alongside each one of you.
We love you!
Taylor, Lizzy, Burrus, and Caroline
